Contract Type: Part Time, Term-Time Only
Salary: Grade B (Dependent on experience)

Steep Church of England Primary School is seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. This full-time role is to support a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), helping them to access learning and flourish within our inclusive setting.
Located in the heart of a beautiful rural village, Steep C of E Primary is a small and nurturing school with a strong community spirit and a love of outdoor learning. Our peaceful surroundings and supportive team make this a truly rewarding place to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the individual needs of the child
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and outside agencies
- Support the child’s academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school day
- Encourage independence and participation in all aspects of school life
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience supporting children with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
- Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
- Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to supporting every child to succeed
