Job Introduction
We are looking for a member of staff who would like to work in the SEN team covering lunchtimes and afternoons as 1:1. support.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An interest in working 1:1 with a child who has special educational needs.
- A calm and nurturing disposition with the ability to be assertive when necessary.
- Able to use their own initiative when unforeseen situations arise.
- The ability to implement a daily structured routine with assistance from the class teacher and SENDCO.
- The ability to follow a set of planned interventions to help develop independence/sensory needs/language and social skills.
