Job Introduction
We require an enthusiastic, creative and highly effective classroom teacher to join our excellent teaching team, ideally for the Summer term, but will wait until September 2025 for the right candidate. We are looking for a part-time teacher to share a class with one of our experienced teachers in one of our ASD specialist classes. Excellent knowledge and expertise in working with children with ASD will be needed, alongside a love of children, keen interest in a range of learning difficulties, ability to think outside the box, a high level of resilience and commitment to making a difference.
Shepherds Down Special School is a large primary school for children with learning difficulties, currently with 195 children on roll.
