Hollywater School is a school for pupils aged 4 – 19 with complex learning needs. We aim to provide pupils with the necessary skills they need to be able to communicate with others in the community and be as independent as possible in their adult life.
We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and conscientious person to support the Finance and Training Manager with day to day administration support.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
Training:
· Responsible for booking HCC & external training courses as identified by Finance & Training Manager or SLT
· Research best training options for a variety of training needs across the school as directed by Finance & Training Manager
· Book training in line with school processes and procurement process
· Support Finance & Training Manager with Training Renewals Process
· Report on Training as directed by Finance & Training Manager
· Manage and organise training files (hard & digital)
· Organisation and Filing of Certificates (includes New Starters & Leavers)
· Keep records of all training undertaken for all staff.
· Manage and maintain bring forward training diary.
· Support with development of Onboarding Training programme
Inventory:
· Support and maintain Asset Register for existing non IT assets (using Inventory Asset Management Tool)
· Report on Assets as directed by Finance & Training Manager
Marketing / Fundraising:
· Support coordination of fundraising or charitable activities as directed by Finance & Training Manager
· Support Finance & Training Manger with Grant applications as necessary
· Support development of school brand materials (ad hoc as required)
General:
· Advise and support office colleagues where relevant (in quieter periods you may be required to support other colleagues with workload as appropriate)
· Familiar with the school’s office, equipment, telephone and computer systems
· Ability to multi task
· Ability to prioritise multiple tasks/projects
We are seeking a professional individual who:
· Has an eye for detail and accuracy
· Is experienced in using general office systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
· Has demonstrable experience with database use
· Demonstrates a clear understanding of Safeguarding
· Is a strong team player
· Is able to work on their own initiative and is a good communicator
· Minimum qualifications of GCSE in Maths and English at grade C or above.
