The successful candidate will ideally have
- A sound understanding and previous experience of school budgeting and financial procedures
- Experience of school specific IT systems such as SIMS, Arbor, HCC’s financial management system
- Experience of dealing with HR issues, having the skills and knowledge to deal with any employment issues along with keeping track of the training needs of the staff
- Understanding of Health and Safety to ensure the school complies with relevant legislation
- Outstanding organisational, communication and IT skills adapting to prioritise work load to meet deadlines
- The ability to lead a team, demonstrating excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Have the ability to stay calm whilst working under pressure, when working in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions, where no two days are ever the same
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our children, parents, staff, governors, and visitors
- Appreciate the importance of confidentiality, honesty, integrity and safeguarding
- Demonstrate a good written standard of written English which may be tested at interview

The hours for this role are 32 hours per week (8.00 am to 4.30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch) 4 days per week. The working weeks are 41 - term time plus 2 weeks.
