Job Introduction

Hours: 37 hours a week 8:30am-4:30pm Monday - Friday, 40 weeks a year

Salary: Hampshire County Council D Grade, Actual salary: £24,387

Following our current post holder’s planned move to bonny Scotland, we are delighted to be offering someone new and exciting opportunity!

We are looking for someone who is organised and has a good manner with people to work in our school office alongside two admin assistants. It is an exciting and interesting role and the main responsibilities include planning and monitoring the school budget alongside the head teacher and using the school ordering systems for purchasing resources. The successful person will also be the Data Protection Officer for the school.

The role also involves dealing with all administration related to personnel matters and managing the Single Central Register for safeguarding our children. We would also like the successful person to support conversations with parents about children’s attendance and put together raising attendance plans. 

We currently have just under 200 lovely children who like to see friendly faces in the office and ensure that we get the very best resources and staff for them with our money.

 

Are you the person we are looking for?

We are looking for a candidate who has a range of administrative experience, including proficient use of ICT and financial accounting. Experience of working in a school is desirable, but not necessary as full training will be given to undertake the role effectively. There is plenty of opportunity for professional development. 

 

The school is in a picturesque village on the outskirts of Fareham surrounded by lovely grounds, including a field and woodland.
