Administration Assistant

Job Start Date: Mutually Agreeable Date

Contract/Hours: Term Time +1 week (40 weeks per year)

Contract Type: Permanent 

Salary Type: Support Staff 

Salary Details: Grade B, Point 1-3 – 37hrs per week - £21,079 - £21,360 – Depending on experience

Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 8.15am – 4.15pm and Friday 8.15am – 3.45pm 

Location of Role: Endeavour Primary School 

Job/Person Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our small, friendly school office team. You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the school office as well as carrying out a variety of office related tasks and implementing and maintaining a comprehensive range of administrative systems.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has excellent communication skills as you will be the initial face of the school to all visitors 
  • Is able to manage the demands of a very busy school office 
  • Deal efficiently and effectively with telephone queries
  • Be able to work well as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the school office
  • Can prioritise effectively under pressure 
  • Is confident in using ICT and has experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Has achieved a Grade C or above in English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
