Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Due to a promotion, we are looking to appoint a friendly, calm and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated office team. The successful applicant will be working within a supportive, fun team and will be an important member of the school structure.
Our schools cater for a wide range of special educational needs, from moderate to profound learning difficulties. We aim to provide a stimulating, creative environment where every individual is valued and supported to achieve their very best.
We are looking for a professional who:
- is competent in the use of information technology, especially in Microsoft Word;
- has excellent interpersonal skills;
- has a calm and consistent approach;
- is able to follow systems and school policies consistently to ensure the safeguarding and safety of our pupils;
- is able to use effective communication skills with staff, visitors, parents, governors, pupils and external contractors;
- can work under own initiative where necessary; and
- has a sympathetic understanding of our pupils’ needs.
Experience of working in a school office with knowledge of Arbor is desirable, however full training will be provided.
