Job Introduction
We are looking for administration support within our busy, friendly and professional school team. Are you an administrative assistant or senior administrative assistant looking for a new challenge? Perhaps someone working within a similar environment?
Are you an enthusiastic, energetic and organised person who would be able to work with all our stakeholders. You will act as the first point of contact for parent, pupil and visitor enquiries, responding within standard procedures or referring the enquiry to an appropriate person.
The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the school’s reception, postal, telephones, stationery and hospitality facilities. Previous experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the right person.
Can you prioritise your own workload and manage customer complaints? Do you have an aptitude for administrative work, normally demonstrated by GCSE standard or equivalent with passes in English and Maths at grade C or above? Do you have excellent organisation and communication skills?
Knowledge of the following is essential: -
- Microsoft word
- Excel spreadsheets
- Management of accurate electronic databases
- Basic financial recording and reconciliation
This is a full-time role but part-time hours would be considered for the right candidate. Please call us if you would like to discuss the possibilities. The capacity to be flexible with your hours would be a distinct advantage.
