Job Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Office Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team. This is a busy and varied role at the heart of our village school community, supporting pupils, parents, staff and visitors on a daily basis. The successful candidate will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the school office.
The post involves managing a wide range of administrative tasks including handling enquiries, maintaining records, preparing communications, and providing general administrative support to the team. You will be the first point of contact for families and visitors, so a warm, professional manner and excellent communication skills are essential.
You will be joining a hardworking and supportive staff team who work closely together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children and families.
We would ask that applicants outline any prior administrative experience and the strengths they would bring to this role, with particular reference to the essential and desirable criteria in the person specification. Experience in managing busy front-of-house duties, handling confidential information, using school or office management systems, coordinating communications, or supporting organisational and compliance processes would be especially valuable.
