We are looking for an Apprentice Site Manager to join our team and help ensure our school environment is well-maintained, secure, and inviting for everyone who works and learns here.
About the Role:
As an Apprentice Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our school’s facilities. Under the guidance of our experienced Site Manager, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in the maintenance and management of the school buildings, grounds, and overall safety of the site. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining school buildings and grounds: Ensuring all areas are clean, tidy, and safe, including classrooms, corridors, and outdoor spaces.
- Health and safety: Assisting with routine safety checks and keeping accurate records to ensure a secure environment for both staff and students.
- Supporting the Site Manager: Learning how to manage repair requests, liaise with contractors, and maintain school equipment.
- School events and activities: Assisting with the preparation of rooms and areas for school events and activities, ensuring they are welcoming and set up to meet the needs of the staff and students.
- General maintenance: Performing basic repairs, gardening, and general upkeep tasks, ensuring the school environment is inviting and well-maintained.
