Assistant Site Manager

Shepherds Down School is a thriving school for Children with Special Educational Needs. 

Based in extensive grounds in Compton Winchester, we have 195 children on roll who are supported by over 100 staff.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for 15 hours a week to help maintain the school premises. 

Objectives of the role

  • To support the Site Manager in maintaining a clean, safe & secure site including all buildings and grounds
  • To carry out routine maintenance, refurbishment & affect minor repairs under the supervision of the Site Manager
  • To ensure that the site & everyone in it is compliant with Health & Safety Regulations

 

General Duties to include

  • Unlocking & Locking of Site in the absence of the Site Manager 
  • Emergency Cleaning as required
  • Stock management of cleaning & hygiene products
  • Waste Management
  • Routine inspections of play equipment and follow up on any defective equipment
  • Marshalling of car park at peak times

To participate in training to develop your knowledge & practice.

A salary between £9,894 - £10,309 depending on experience
