Job Introduction
We have a vacancy in our Pastoral department to support pupils working in our new Hub and Lodge provisions.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate resilience, initiative, patience and a passion for working with and assisting young people to learn. There are excellent opportunities for career progression and a full induction will be provided. Candidates must have proven literacy and numeracy skills, equivalent to GCSE grade C and above.
The successful candidate will be required to assist teachers delivering lessons and interventions to individual pupils or small groups of pupils that require additional support. They will work closely with the Pastoral Team, SENCO and subject teachers to ensure pupils receive the best support possible. Our pupils are a delight to work with and always value the extra support offered by our staff.
Whilst previous secondary school experience is not necessarily essential, a passion for supporting all pupil to achieve their potential is crucial.
