Job/Person Summary

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our school team as a Breakfast Club Leader.

 - To maintain a good relationship with parents and carers 

 - To liaise with parents on care, progress and wellbeing of their child

 -Ensure all equipment is set up before the start of the session and that the equipment is tidied away     and clean

- Interact with children, deciding when to interact to assist in children’s play or to dispel upsets/arguments 

-Provide breakfast for the children

-Take a register on Arbor

-Monitor and react to emails for the Breakfast club

 - Ensure any reports of faults or damage are attended to immediately, liaising with line       manager/caretaker of the building as required. 

  Ensure any accidents are attended by the trained first-aider immediately 

Role related skills

- Would like the candidate to have a NVQ3 in childcare or equivalent

-Experience of working with children in the age range of 5 to 11

-Caring and Calm manner when working with Children

-The ability to communicate effectively with children and parents
