Children are at the heart of what we do at Emsworth Primary School. Emsworth is a vibrant and popular school where children enjoy a rich and diverse range of experiences and achieve well in a caring and respectful environment.
The cleaning staff are valuable members of our staff team and we are seeking to appoint a casual cleaner to be called upon as required. This could be early mornings or after school depending on your availability and could be at short notice to cover any sickness. You will need to be enthusiastic, patient, well-organised and flexible. You must be able to communicate well, show initiative and understand the importance of Health and Safety within the school setting.
The role involves:
- Supporting the permanent cleaning staff to ensure that the school is clean
- Turning your hand to whatever area of cleaning is required
- Being diligent and committed
The successful applicant will need to:
- Work effectively as part of a small team or be able to lone work
- Follow instructions
- Be a good time keeper
- Be reliable and consistent in your work
- Ensure that health and safety in relation to the cleaning is followed at all times.
