Exciting opportunity to start your career as a Year R Teacher in our outstanding (Ofsted Feb, 2023) Early Years Department.

Oakley Infant School is a two form entry school with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Our small, supportive, infant school is located just outside of Basingstoke and is set in large, mature grounds. We have an experienced team of teachers and support staff who create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for our children.

We are seeking to appoint an ECT in their first or second year of teaching to join our vibrant Early Years department.

We are looking for a teacher who:

· Has a positive, caring and approachable manner.

· Has excellent communication skills.

· Can work well in a team.

· Has high expectations for children in terms of their learning, behaviour and their achievement.

· Puts children at the centre of their practice.

· Is starting out in teaching and has great potential to develop their skill set; or someone who is able to bring some teaching experience to the role.
