Are you a passionate teacher looking for an exciting new challenge? An ECT looking for their first post? Park Gate Primary School is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team on a fixed-term, full-time basis from September 2026.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious early career teachers (ECTs) looking for a fixed-term placement. At Park Gate Primary School, you’ll be part of a welcoming staff team committed to professional development and making a real difference to the lives of our 400+ pupils.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Qualifications and training

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to primary education

Experience

Successful teaching experience (applications welcomed from experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs)
Experience of fostering excellent pupil progress

Skills and knowledge

Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies
Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment practices
Effective communication and organisational skills
Understanding of safeguarding procedures and commitment to pupil welfare
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Personal qualities

High expectations for all pupils and belief in their potential
Commitment to professional growth and development
Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive approach to challenges
Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
