Job/Person Summary

Mengham Junior School is a two-form entry school situated on Hayling Island, close to the beach. We offer a stimulating environment with wonderful school grounds in which to learn and work.

You will:

· Have an unconditional positive regard for all children, including their safety and well-being

· Be committed to the safeguarding of children

· Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour

· Have a good understanding of the key stage 2 curriculum

· Demonstrate an ability to facilitate and motivate learning, building on strengths and identifying barriers and areas for development to ensure the curriculum is accessible by all learners

· Be committed to working in partnership with children, staff, parents, governors and the wider community

· Have an enthusiasm, energy and willingness to be involved in all aspects of school

The successful candidate will be offered regular CPD by an experienced team and external providers in a school committed to staff well-being.
