HOURS:                             Monday-Friday

CONTRACT TYPE:            Permanent

SALARY:                            MPS £32,916 to £45,352

INTERVIEW DATE:          To be agreed

START DATE:                   1st September 2026

CLOSING DATE: We are interviewing on a rolling programme and will review applications as they are received. We will close applications once the position is appointed.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and dynamic teacher, who has a clear understanding of what effective teaching and learning looks like, to join us on our journey moving forward.

We welcome applications from candidates with interest and/or experience in any of the Primary age range (Early Years to Year 6) as we will review our staffing structure based on a successful appointment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have high expectations of children’s achievement, behaviour and attitudes to learning.
  • Have an ability to create a stimulating and purposeful learning environment both within the classroom and outside in our extensive school grounds.
  • Be able to continually reflect and improve upon their own practice in order to achieve excellence.
  • Have a sense of humour!

Medstead C of E Primary School is a one form entry, village school in a picturesque location and with fantastic community links. We pride ourselves on our academic attainment and work closely as an effective and very supportive team, to ensure that all our children achieve success. We believe that the creative curriculum and irresistible experiences that we provide for our children set us aside from other primary schools and make Medstead an exciting school to teach in.
