We are seeking an exceptional primary class teacher to join our dedicated, welcoming team at South Baddesley CE Primary School and Nursery. Initially offered as a one-year maternity cover, this role comes at an exciting time as we continue to embed our school strengths, grow our unique curriculum, and further enhance our approach to personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver inspiring, creative, and inclusive teaching and learning experiences aligned with the Primary National Curriculum.
Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment that prioritises pupil wellbeing and holistic development.
Work collaboratively with parallel staff, SEN/Inclusion leaders, and support teams to meet the needs of all learners.
Engage with our outdoor learning provision, leveraging the school farm and outdoor environment to enrich learning.
(For experienced candidates) Lead and evaluate whole-school initiatives and engage in cross-school collaborative projects.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Deep understanding of the Primary Curriculum and current pedagogical best practices.
A genuine passion for outdoor learning and environmental education.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
Desirable Qualities
Creativity, warmth, and a healthy sense of humour.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Proactive commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
Proven experience or interest in leading school-wide curriculum or development projects.
