We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our team on a part time, fixed term basis to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months.
The hours of work at 3.30-6.15pm on Monday to Friday. The position is term-time, plus an additional 3 weeks to be worked during the school holidays - 1 week during February half term and 2 weeks at the end of the Summer holiday.
About the role:
You’ll be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school, ensuring our pupils, staff and visitors benefit from a safe and pleasant environment. Duties include cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and toilets, as well as supporting the Site Manager with general cleaning tasks.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of a friendly team
- Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Will support our commitment to safeguarding and health & safety
No formal qualifications are required and full training will be provided if needed. Previous cleaning experience, especially in a school or similar environment, is desirable but not essential.
