Job Introduction
We are very proud of our school; the cleanliness of the school environment is an important part of our high standards, creating safe and hygienic areas for our children to work and play.
We would like to employ another cleaner to help support the existing team. We would like this member of staff to have some experience of cleaning if possible but training can be given.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- wiping down surfaces
- vacuuming carpeted areas
- dusting surfaces
- sweeping hard surfaces
- emptying bins
- cleaning toilets, wash basins and sinks
- mopping floor areas
- scrubbing non-slip floors
The successful candidate will:
- Take pride in their work
- Have high standards of cleaning and hygiene
- Follow the agreed HCC/school health and safety policies
- Follow safeguarding procedures and adhere to rules on site security
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Be able to work individually and as part of the team
- Be flexible around helping out when other members of the team are absent.
Hours - 3.30pm -6.00pm Monday - Friday
12.5 hours per week
41 weeks - so term time plus 2 weeks for holiday cleaning
A1 grade
