Job Introduction
Our Governing Body are looking for a reliable, efficient and effective clerk. This is an interesting and varied part time role which includes:
Collating and distributing agendas and associated paperwork in advance of meetings and in consultation with the school Head and Chair of Governors.
Attending and taking minutes at our Governors meetings, usually there are five meetings per year, held on a Wednesday evening.
Maintaining and filing all associated paperwork.
Experience would be welcome but training is available for the right candidate. You will have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT, with excellent organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
You will need to understand the confidentiality of the role and be able to develop a good working relationship with the Governing Body, Headteacher and school staff.
