We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team preparing fresh and healthy, nutritious school meals. Our Catering Assistant will work term time, during school hours for two hours a day, 11am to 1pm preparing lunch, with an additional 1.5 hrs per week for administration and ordering.
You’ll need to be reliable and flexible, working as part of the staff team, preparing food to be served on time is essential, so you must be able to work flexibly, use your own initiative and cope in a busy environment.
This will not be a pupil facing role, but any previous experience with working with children or experience of working in a catering environment would be an advantage - but it’s not essential as full training and support will be given.
About us:
The Key Education Centres provide alternative provisions for pupils aged 11—16 who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools. This role is based at our school in Havant.
