Cover Supervisor
Fixed Term Contract for 1 year in the first instance
32 to 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only)
Grade C – Full Time Equivalent Salary £24,405 to 25,430 per annum
Pro rata salary at C1 - £18,055.32 for 32 hours / £20,875.68 for 37 hours
Park Community School wishes to appoint a Cover Supervisor.
This is a rewarding career opportunity, supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. A busy role, requiring a patient and caring manner and the ability to deal with a range of situations.
Strong organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team or independently as required.
The successful candidate will be highly committed to the learning and development of students. Candidates should be qualified to a minimum of GCSE level. Experience of working with students of secondary school age would be an advantage.
The position may suit a graduate of any age who is interested in pursuing a career in teaching and is looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
