Job Introduction
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Manager to join our dedicated team and play a key role in driving school improvement through the strategic use of data.
Working with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, The Data Leader will design, manage and present high-quality graphical and tabular data on school progress, attainment, behaviour and attendance for staff and external stakeholders. The post holder will ensure the school`s SIMS database is accurate, up to date and provides relevant information to support teaching, learning and pastoral care.
You will manage data integrity across the school, coordinate statutory returns (such as the School Census), and provide vital support and training to staff in using SIMS modules.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically skilled professional with a strong understanding of school data systems and a passion for enabling student success through informed decision-making.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths & English
- NVQ Level 4 in IT, Business or a similar field
- Qualification ion Data Management, Statistics or related areas would be desirable
- Proven experience managing school data systems (preferably SIMS)
- Strong knowledge of assessment, reporting and statutory returns
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
