Job Introduction
We are looking for an individual who enjoys cleaning and would like to make a positive difference to the environment of our pupils. Whilst working as part of a whole school team, you will have responsibility for the daily cleaning of designated areas of the school, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for pupils, teachers and visitors.
Taking a pride in the cleanliness of the school, you will ensure safe working practices, using products and equipment in accordance with guidelines and ensure classrooms are secure and well maintained. Ideally with similar previous experience, it is important to the school that you have a conscientious and reliable approach, being self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside our site team to keep environments safe and hygienic for every one.
- Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
- Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
- Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
- Emptying and disposing of bin waste
- Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm including a 30 minute unpaid break. Term time only including inset days.
