The Role
As Deputy Director of English, you will:
Support the Director of English in leading teaching, learning and curriculum development across the department.
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who models outstanding pedagogy.
Contribute to raising student outcomes through high expectations, innovative practice, and a relentless focus on quality first teaching.
Play a key role in mentoring and supporting colleagues and shaping the culture of the team.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is an ambitious and reflective English teacher with a passion for the subject
Has a track record of excellent classroom practice and improving student outcomes.
Is ready to take on additional leadership responsibility and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.
Enjoys working collaboratively and is eager to grow as a leader.
