DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER

Due to the promotion of our previous Deputy Headteacher to full headship, the governors of St Bede’s are looking to appoint an exceptional deputy head teacher to take up post in September 2025. The new deputy will work alongside our experienced head teacher, in order to take the school forward to continued success. The position is non-classed based, although there will be a small teaching commitment involved.
St Bede’s is a thriving school with strong academic results and an excellent local reputation.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a practising Catholic and has a clear understanding of and commitment to, Catholic education;
- is an outstanding teacher with experience across the primary phase and high expectations of achievement and behaviour;
- is committed to working in partnership with staff, governors, parents and pupils;
- has excellent management and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, challenge, develop and inspire others.
