Barncroft Primary School is seeking an outstanding, enthusiastic, and highly motivated teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2026. Our children deserve the best, and we are committed to getting it right from the very start. This post is suitable for an early career teacher who would relish the challenge of working in an area of high social deprivation . This position is temporary.

We are looking for a talented, inspirational teacher who:
- Has high expectations and aspirations for each one of the children they teach
- Works with optimism and enthusiasm to remove barriers to children’s success
- Has a strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Understands the challenges and rewards of working in a large community school in an area of high social deprivation.
- Has a positive outlook to motivate all children to make very good progress
- Delivers high quality inclusive teaching for all and promotes children’s independent learning
- Works creatively and with resilience so that each pupil can achieve their full personal potential
- Is positive and caring when working on children’s welfare and pastoral needs
- Is self-motivated in putting pupil’s learning and development at the heart of everything they do
- Leads by example and communicates well with children, colleagues and parents
- Collaborates effectively as a team member, knowing that they will be valued for their contribution to the work of the school
- Is happy to take part in the wider life of the school
