Job Introduction
The role will include building and maintaining strong relationships with pupils and liaising with parents and outside agencies to support the emotional wellbeing of children and their families.
The successful candidate should have a passion for mental health support and be confident in implementing strategies to support this. You will have a warm personality, the ability to stay calm under pressure. You will also have a good understanding of safeguarding and be able to respond to situations in a non-judgemental manner.
We can offer you regular attendance at the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Educational Psychology ELSA supervision meetings and cluster networking opportunities.
You will need to have achieved a GCSE grade C and above in Maths and English and ideally you will have completed the ELSA intervention training but this could be offered through Hampshire and Isle of Wight Educational Psychology on appointment to the right person
