We are looking for an enthusiastic and exceptional class teacher (Newly Qualified and recently qualified are welcome) to teach in an EYFS class in our happy and successful school. We pride ourselves in nurturing and supporting every child and knowing every child as an individual. We are a supportive, happy team and go the extra mile for all children. 

We are looking for a teacher who: 

  • Will be committed to high quality teaching and learning inside and outside the classroom
  • Has recent experience of the EYFS curriculum and a broader Key Stage 1 understanding
  • Has a really good understanding of the way in which children learn and can set purposeful next steps in learning
  • Provides exciting and inspiring learning experiences for every child in their care
  • Is confident, with excellent assessment and ability to plan next steps for all children
  • Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all children
  • Is confident and competent at using ICT to support learning
  • Is a team player who can demonstrate good interpersonal skills and is self–reflective, with excellent communication skills
  • Committed to high standards of personal and professional development
  • Has a good sense of humour, is enthusiastic, ambitious and able to work with initiative
  • Has a growth mindset and is able to teach mixed ability (not pre-set) groups of children using careful scaffolding and reviewing prior teaching
