We are currently developing our outdoor learning opportunities, especially in our Early Years & KS1 learning environments so this is an exciting time to join us and work alongside our inspirational teaching & support team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our infant class teaching team. The successful candidate will, on a 0.5 contract, share the responsibility with an experienced ECT to facilitate the learning of our youngest members. As a church school, we value the personal development of our young people and undertake to grow a life-long love of learning in all our students. The successful applicant will complement the dedicated team of professionals who provide a welcoming and stimulating learning experience for all the children at West Meon School.

The successful applicant will:
- Have secure subject knowledge and a proven record of high-quality teaching
- Be able to communicate effectively within a classroom setting with their teaching partner.
- Be able to motivate and engage children with inspiring classroom practice
- Have had experience of leading a subject
- Have a strong knowledge and pedagogy in a EYFS & KS1 setting
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of school life including outdoor education, trips and residentials.
- Have a good understanding of assessment strategies that make a difference!
This position is fixed term until August 2026.
