EYFS Learning Assistant

Job Introduction

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives?  Do you have a love for Early Years education?  We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join our vibrant Year R team at Kimpton, Thruxton and Fyfield CE Primary School.

About the Role:

As a Learning Assistant, you will paly a crucial role in supporting our youngest learners.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning experiences
  • Supporting children's individual needs and development
  • Creating a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with parents and carers

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passion for Early Year Education: a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a deep understanding of their developmental needs
  • Experience: ideally, experience working in an Early Years setting, but not essential
  • Positive Attitude: a friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent communication skills
  • Team Player: ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team
