Job/Person Summary

 

We are excited to be looking for a new Early Career Teacher to join our team. This year we are looking for just one additional teacher to join our school community from September 2025. 

Rucstall is a popular one-form entry primary school with a supportive community in the quiet Black Dam area of Basingstoke. We are fortunate enough to have fantastic grounds and a dedicated team who provide our children with the very best. 

The school has an excellent reputation within the local area and across Hampshire, and is therefore for an excellent place to start your career and continue your learning journey as a teacher. 

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an Early Career Teacher;
  • Is an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher with commitment to raising standards for all children; 
  • Is a reflective practitioner;
  • Has high expectations of learners;
  • Is interested in their own development;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to pupils’ development and pastoral care;
  • Has teaching experience using the National Curriculum;
  • Has a good sense of humour;
  • Is highly motivated and organised.
