Early Years Assistant – Level 2 or 3 Qualified
We are looking for a motivated, flexible and team orientated Early Years Assistant to join our Preschool team. The role is for full time from 8.15 – 3.15pm.
We can offer a well-resourced, bright and welcoming environment, delightful children, supportive parents and a friendly team of colleagues. We have fantastic resources for taking learning outside with our Forest and Farm Schools. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

The pay is set at step B3 (Hampshire scale) which equates to £25,128 full time equivalent (£13.02 hourly rate). This will be paid pro rata for the hours worked. An enhanced DBS check and other employment checks will be made for successful applicants.

The successful candidate will:
• have relevant and recent experience of working in an Early Years setting with a level 2 qualification or above;
• have excellent communication skills
• have a positive outlook;
• be an excellent team player;
• be organised and able to work independently;
• have a good understanding of child development and some experience of supporting children’s learning;
• place children at the heart.
