We are looking for a friendly, positive and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our Early Years team. If you are passionate about helping young children thrive and enjoy working collaboratively with dedicated teachers and support staff, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference.
In this role, you’ll work with both individuals and groups of children, supporting learning, delivering interventions and providing daily feedback to teachers. Experience within Early Years or in a classroom or 1:1 role is desirable – but if you’re enthusiastic and willing to learn, we can provide training.
Our two‑form entry school is set in beautiful grounds with excellent links to Winchester, Basingstoke, Andover, and major routes (M3/A34/A303).
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Enjoys working with children and is a strong team player
- Can communicate clearly and professionally
- Stays calm, positive and adaptable, even under pressure
- Understands the curriculum and supports children to make progress
- Can maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding procedures
- Is nurturing, kind, enthusiastic and committed to every child’s success
- Has high expectations of themselves and the pupils they support
- Holds GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
