Job/Person Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a practitioner at our Nursery setting for children aged 2 – 5 years, set up in partnership with our school. There will be opportunities to work within the whole setting, with small groups and on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our Nursery and Early Years Leader and EYFS team to deliver an engaging and enabling learning environment and a safe place for our children to grow. We pride ourselves in building strong and positive relationships with our children and families.
We are looking for a Level 2 or 3 qualified practitioner in Childcare, who has relevant experience.
We are looking for practitioners who are:

- Dedicated, reflective and hardworking with a positive outlook
- A team player, able to create a purposeful learning environment
- Approachable, flexible and ready to take on challenges
- Able to understand confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- Desire to engage with training and relevant professional development.
- Able to build relationships with all children
- Desirable qualifications include – Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications.
- Have a sound awareness of the EYFS framework, including Birth to 5 and Development Matters.
