An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and ambitious experienced Year 5/6 LSA or HLTA to join our hardworking and friendly team to support the teaching in Year 5 and 6 in the mornings.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic and proactive with a “can do attitude”
- Is a good team player, with a good sense of humour
- Has a positive and kind approach
- Has the understanding of children’s development and motivate them to learn
- Has a good standard of English and Maths (GCSE)
- Holds a relevant Level 3 or HLTA qualification or similar
- Is able to maintain confidentiality at all times and is aware of safeguarding procedures
- Is able to support the learning of SEN pupils
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach whole class sessions or group work for Year 5/6
- Supply in other classes if needed (if HLTA qualified)
- Ensure the children complete learning tasks set by the class teacher
- Assist the class teacher with assessment for learning
