FULL-TIME KS2 & COMPUTING LEAD TEACHER

Job Introduction

Graded good by Ofsted in March 2022, we at Hawley Primary School are looking for an experienced, motivated, inspirational teacher to join our team in lower Key Stage Two.

This full-time role includes teaching a lower KS2 class, collaborating within our enthusiastic team.  We are looking to appoint an excellent practitioner who is passionate about learning, professional development and growing their own practice as part of our dynamic team.  

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate teacher to lead and develop our computing curriculum, ensuring that all pupils develop confidence and competence in digital literacy, coding, and online safety.

This role has capacity for pay to reflect the level of position for the right candidate with the appropriate experience.

 

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has an excellent background of delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning
  • Can lead and develop the computing curriculum across the school with proven success
  • Is a creative teacher who is passionate about pedagogy and uses assessment to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and the ability to build strong relationships with children
  • Promotes digital literacy, coding skills, and responsible internet use for all children.
  • Ensures the effective use of technology to enhance teaching and learning across all subjects.
  • Can use Arbor to analyse data and identify clear next steps for all pupils and deliver good or better pupil progress
  • Has experience of mixed age classes and good use of differentiation
  • Will support and inspire colleagues to integrate computing effectively into their teaching.
  • Shows, and is willing to foster, positive relationships with families and carers in our school community.
  • Stay up to date with developments in computing education and share best practices.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to enhance the school's IT infrastructure and digital strategy.
