Our outstanding nursery (May 2023) has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Family Support Worker. This role will be varied with everyday offering a new challenge. Working closely with the safeguarding team in Nursery and supporting families in a wide range of ways, it is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the work and support offered. We are looking for someone dynamic, forward thinking, empathetic and motivated.

∞ The minimum hours offered are 30 per week, this can be increased for the right candidate.   52-week contract permanent role, with a competitive starting salary (Hampshire County Council Grade E) ∞

 

Salary range £26,066 - £28,573 actual based on 30 hours per week. FTE salary for 37 hours per week which could be considered for the right candidate £32,149-£35,241)

 

The Centre is open from 7.45am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Flexibility in hours is available, to suit both the nursery school and successful candidate, with the expectation that hours will be spread throughout the week. Occasional evening or weekend working may be required to run support groups or training.
