Job Introduction

25 hours per week – term time
We are seeking an individual with strong numerical and finance skills. Experience of working in an education setting would be an advantage, but we welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in other sectors.

The person appointed will support the Senior Bursar in the administration of all transactional finance tasks. Please see our person specification and local duties documents for further information.
The position is for 25 hours per week, term time only hours split between Monday to Friday. We can be flexible on how the hours are worked across the week, but we are looking for coverage every day, and for the hours to be set.
The Key Education Centres provide alternative provisions for pupils aged 11—16 who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools. Our provisions pride themselves on being abreast of current pedagogy and our work around attachment-focused and trauma informed practice is a fundamental part of our work in engaging pupils in learning experiences beyond those of the traditional curriculum alongside providing them with the skills needed to succeed in life beyond The Key and in modern Britain.
We are a 'Good' Education Centre (OFSTED February 2018) and we are looking for a Finance Assistant who whilst carrying out tasks to support both our sites, will join us in our Havant school. Our environment can be challenging, but we believe the support available and our team focused approach make this a really rewarding experience.
