Finance Officer

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join our well established Finance Department at Court Moor School from late September/October 2026. We are looking for a friendly, highly organised and motivated person for this important and rewarding role, who will work closely with the Finance Assistant and School Business Manager to play a key part in the school’s financial operations.


Court Moor School is a successful, mixed 11–16 years comprehensive school with a high achieving, caring ethos, and supportive staff. The school’s tagline is ‘A great place to be, and a place to be great’ which encompasses how we aim to make the school a positive working environment but also one where hard work and achievement is an expectation.


This position is term time only (39 weeks) plus 2 weeks so 41 weeks in total, 37 hours a week worked between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday. See the Role Profile and Person Specification for more details


The successful candidate would ideally have some experience working in an educational environment and/or a financial background, however all applications will be carefully considered.
