The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Head of PE to lead and develop our PE Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PE teacher who is ready to take on a leadership role or for an established Head of Department seeking a new challenge.

The successful candidate will provide strong professional leadership, ensuring high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and continued improvement in student achievement, participation, and wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to support teaching and learning and contribute to whole-school improvement.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A passion for physical education and school sport, with a clear vision for departmental development. 
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support others. 
  • A reflective and self-motivated approach to teaching and leadership.

Salary: MPR/UPR + TLR 2b
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
