We are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching PE, who will be an effective leader of this strong team, and who will look to further increase our excellent PE curriculum.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire our pupils and staff with engaging teaching and leadership. The school places great emphasis on learning and achievement and, as such, the successful candidate will have a track record of excellent teaching and examination results alongside an ability to mentor, coach and lead others. The successful candidate will:
- be an excellent teacher of PE, have fantastic subject knowledge and be passionate about helping all students, including the most able, appreciate PE and understand how to succeed in the subject;
- be passionate about PE and engaging students both in lessons and in extra-curricular opportunities;
- have a passion for learning and teaching, and be committed to continuous learning and professional development and responsive to feedback;

- be committed to developing the highly effective teaching and learning across the school through coaching, mentoring and contributing to high quality CPD;
- be a team player and able to lead a strong and dynamic PE team;
