Job/Person Summary

Due to the retirement of our Headteacher, the Governing board are seeking a dynamic, inspirational leader and excellent communicator to join our school as the new Headteacher.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic about working in a small rural primary school and is driven to build on its success
  • Has excellent leadership skills and energy with an ability to inspire and empower all the teachers, staff, children and parents and carers
  • Actively works with the Governing body
  • Is able to exercise strategic financial planning to ensure the equitable deployment of budgets and resources
  • Will be proactive in communicating effectively with everyone involved with our school and within the local community
