We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and visible leader to inspire and motivate our ambitious team. In particular, the successful candidate should be an excellent communicator and have the ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, governors and parents. Our current Headteacher is leaving to take up a new role in education and we are looking to consolidate the important changes she has introduced into the school. In particular, we have made significant progress in areas of our curriculum and our new Head will assist the team embed these changes and build on their success thus improving outcomes for all our children.
Our School
Whitchurch Church of England Primary School is an inclusive school with 441 pupils currently on roll and our ethos is based on the Christian values of love, courage and respect. We offer all our pupils an experience of faith through collective worship and our valued links with All Hallows Church. The school has excellent facilities and offers pupils a wide range of activities. The school is set in delightful grounds and pupils have the opportunity to participate in a full range of outdoor activities including a Forest School.
Location
Whitchurch is a small town located on the edge of the North Wessex Downs and is in an area of outstanding beauty. There is easy accessibility to the towns of Winchester, Basingstoke, Newbury and Andover. In addition, the town is adjacent to the A34 with easy access to motorways. There is also a direct train line service to London and it only takes an hour to reach Waterloo Station.
