Job Introduction

We are looking for someone with energy, vision and first class communication skills to lead Forest Park School, a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated special school on the edge of the New Forest, Hampshire. Split across two sites one mile apart our pupils are aged 2 to 19 years old with a range of SEND and complex health needs.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be a visible champion for our pupils through strong compassionate leadership for high quality inclusive education.
  • Lead staff with confidence and integrity in learning, teaching and safeguarding.
  • Be an effective and inspiring team leader, committed to developing others.
  • Have proven experience and a deep commitment to SEND pupil wellbeing and achievement.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with our families, carers, professionals and the wider community.
