We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and highly effective qualified teacher to join our dynamic and nurturing team. Our schools are committed to providing inclusive, personalised education for pupils with complex needs, with a strong emphasis on communication, emotional wellbeing, and independence.
We are looking for a practitioner who has:
- experience of using TEACCH principles to structure learning environments
- knowledge and practical experience of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) strategies to support pupils
- experience of working with pupils who have SEND
- excellent teaching and classroom skills
- the ability to plan, implement and evaluate
- the ability to tailor individual teaching programmes for pupils with complex learning difficulties
- the ability to motivate, lead, manage and develop staff
- the ability to communicate well and develop effective relationships/partnerships with parents and carers
- good organisational skills
