Are you an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives?
Newlands Primary School are seeking to appoint a talented and highly motivated HLTA to join our friendly and dedicated team. We are flexible and welcome applications from experienced HLTAs seeking either a full-time or part-time position.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding role that will involve:
- Covering classes across the primary age range from Reception to Year 6 to support release time and cover staff absence.
- Leading targeted interventions and booster groups to support pupil progress.
- Working alongside teachers and support staff to ensure all children receive the support they need to succeed.
We are Looking for Someone who:
- Has completed an HLTA qualification, teaching qualification, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Has experience of working within a primary school setting, leading whole-class learning as well as supporting small groups and individual pupils.
- Can engage, motivate and inspire children to develop a love of learning.
- Is a positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues, pupils and families.
